Inside ISIS’ war ravaged ex stronghold Mosul

It was finally liberated by coalition of the Iraqi army, special forces including the UK’s SAS, Kurdish Peshmerga and Shi'ite paramilitary groups totalling around 100,000 fighters in 2017.battle lasted almost nine months, left most of the city in ruins, killed thousands of civilians and displaced more than 900,000 others.A report byfound many people in Mosul are living in squalid conditions despite their liberation from ISIS.
