The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has announced its intention to take all necessary measures to safeguard and restore its reputation following a failed project initiated by its president, Gianni Infantino. The decision was made after a meeting held in Rabat on August 4th, where the FIFA leadership discussed the need to improve the organization's processes following the withdrawal of the FIFA Forward Enterprise proposal. The FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, has been supported by the FIFA leadership in the aftermath of the meeting.

Об этом 5 августа сообщила пресс-служба организации. Ранее Инфантино предлагал продать часть прав на чемпионат мира частным инвесторам в рамках проекта FIFA Forward Enterprise. Однако позже отказался от этой идеи из-за критики со стороны футбольного сообщества. В связи с этим руководство ФИФА провело экстренное совещание в Рабате с участием президента и членов совета.
"Руководство ФИФА провело конструктивную встречу в Рабате. Обсуждения были сосредоточены на необходимости совершенствования процессов после отзыва предложения FIFA Forward Enterprise. ФИФА не потерпит никаких посягательств на свою честность и примет все необходимые меры для защиты своей репутации. После встречи генеральный секретарь ФИФА Маттиас Графстрем и присутствовавшие на ней члены правления подтвердили свою полную поддержку президенту Инфантино", — говорится в заявлении.
